CARTS Country Bus – Curb-to-Curb Rides for Rural Central Texas
CARTS Country Bus is your reliable curb-to-curb transit service for everyone in our 10-county Central Texas region — whether you’re headed to work, a doctor’s appointment, the grocery store, or anywhere in between. We serve residents in Blanco, Burnet, Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays (rural), Lee, Travis (rural), Llano, and Williamson (rural) counties.
Spare App: Beginning August 1, CARTS Country Bus riders can book same-day trips directly through the new CARTS App, powered by Spare. Riders will be able to book and pay for curb-to-curb service using the app—no phone call required. Trips can be scheduled for the same day or up to two weeks in advance. Service is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Free Rides for Seniors 60+
If you’re 60 or older, you ride free on all CARTS Country Bus services.
Personal care attendants ride free, too! This program is proudly supported by the Capital Area Council of Governments, Area Agency on Aging, ADRC of the Capital Area, and the Older Americans Act. Our local vehicles serve nearby towns, so ride times may vary based on demand.
