Interurban Coach Express – Commuter Routes

The Interurban Coach Express provides weekday commuter service directly connecting Georgetown/Round Rock and Smithville/Bastrop with downtown Austin. Launched as part of the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) initiative, these routes offer a reliable, cost-effective alternative to driving alone—helping reduce congestion, improve commute reliability, and support cleaner air across Central Texas. Service includes convenient Park & Ride locations and key downtown Austin stops.

Fares are set by zones.All fares are based on a oneway trip. For more information on purchasing bus fare, click here.

Transit app, Token Transit app will be available on google play and apple stores. Exact cash or purchased ticket accepted when boarding. Fare Prices are by zone. $2 one -way within the same county, $4 one-way, and $6 day pass, $88 Monthly Pass. There are no discounted fares for this service.

All of our buses and vans are wheelchair accessible. When scheduling service, mention that you need this type of service. Also mention any type of assistance that you might need or if someone will be traveling with you to assist you.

Persons with disabilities are entitled to discounted fares when traveling on CARTS. Certification of a disability by a physician or qualified medical professional is required.
