CARTS is proud to participate in Bike to Work Day 2026 as an official Fueling Station host on Friday, May 15.
Bike to Work Day is part of Bike Month ATX (May 11–17) and encourages residents across the Austin region to explore biking as a healthy, sustainable, and convenient way to commute.
On the morning of May 15, fueling stations will be set up across the region from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., offering free coffee, snacks, and community support for riders. CARTS will be among the participating hosts, welcoming cyclists as they make their way into Austin and surrounding areas.
In addition to fueling stations, the day includes:
- A City Hall celebration with local leaders and community partners
- A Bike to Work Day Happy Hour from 4:30–6:30 p.m. at Central Machine Works
- Group rides, giveaways, and more
Riders can also take advantage of a free CapMetro Bikeshare pass by using code B2WD26 and sharing their ride using #B2WD26 on social media.
CARTS supports a connected, multimodal transportation system and is proud to be part of initiatives that promote active transportation alongside public transit.
