Drivers

Across our region, CARTS provides many types of transit services such as paratransit, fixed-route, on-demand, and intercity. 

The type of service determines the Texas Driver License that will be needed for a given Driver position.

Various positions (with different requirements) may be available at each worksite location.

Manor            Non-CDL (DOT medical card required (paid by CARTS)                   

Cedar Park    CDL A or B W/ “P” endorsement (DOT medical card required (paid by CARTS))  

Even if there are no current openings in your area, you are welcome to submit an application.  Applications are kept on file for 6 months to fill positions as they open and candidates are called to interview by the application date.

Typically, Driver hiring/training takes place once per month.

Eastside Bus Plaza Ticket Agent

The Ticket Agent provides information and ticket sales to the public and performs general office tasks. This position will assist customers with transportation services provided by CARTS, Capital Metro, and Greyhound.
