Round Rock Expands Transit Service with CARTS
The City of Round Rock is offering expanded transit services beginning Monday, April 3, 2006, through it's contract with the Capital Area Rural Transit System.
There are four significant changes in the services.
Expanded Hours
The services in now available from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
More Service
More vehicles have been added to provide continuous service throughout the day.
Same Day Service
We now offer more immediate and flexible service.Instead of 24-hour advance notice you can book your ride with only four hours notice. If you know of your transportation need ahead of time, we still recommend you book as far in advance as possible, as routes do fill up.
Subscription Bookings
If you travel at the same time and to the same place on a routine basis, we can set-up a "standing ride." This way you only call if you are not going.
