Blanco County Service Improvements, effective Oct. 1st 2006
Starting October 1, 2006, CARTS has modified some bus routes to increase service availability for residents of Blanco County.
With gas prices steadily on the rise, many persons are left with limited transportation options. These new routes will help to improve the quality of life and enhance mobility and access to services. CARTS services is an open door public transit system, available to all citizens in Blanco County. Times listed below are estimated departure and return times and will be adjusted depending on where you live.
The new routes will take you to places like; supermarkets, shops, banks, medical offices, pharmacies, senior centers, and other destinations. CARTS offers variable routing for all areas within Blanco County. To use CARTS, call toll-free 1-800-456-7433 during normal business hours and the reservation staff will work with you to schedule your ride.
The schedule changes include:
- In-town City of Blanco Tues, Wed, & Thurs from 8:00a to 12:30p
- In-town Johnson City Tues & Thurs from 1:00p to 4:00p
- Route Service to Fredericksburg 1st Monday 8:30a to 2:00p
- Route Service to Fredericksburg 3rd Monday 10:00a to 3:30p
- Route Service to Marble Falls 2nd Monday 8:30a to 2:00p
- Route Service to Marble Falls 4th Monday 10:00a to 3:30p
- Route Service to San Antonio 1st Friday 8:30a to 2:00p
- Route Service to San Marcos 2nd Friday 8:30a to 2:00p
- Route Service to San Antonio 3rd Friday 8:30a to 2:00p
- Route Service to Austin 4th Friday 8:30a to 2:00
